PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a power saving when any high speed writing processing is not performed in a memory card device with a large capacity using a flash type EEPROM. SOLUTION: Instructions (reading, writing, erasure), data storage addresses, and data, inputted from a host device are inputted through a host interface 101 to a controller 102 and a buffer control circuit 103. The buffer control circuit 103 controls data buffers 104-106 based on the control signal of the controller 102 so that data can be inputted and outputted. A flash control circuit 107 performs the writing or reading of data to flash type EEPROMs 108-110. In this case, it is possible to shorten a data saving processing time by independently writing data by each erasure unit in one flash type EEPROM. |
