PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable rubber composition for sealant used for seals such as a joint seal, a gasket, a weather strip of automobile, good in compressive permanent set and small in specific gravity, as well as capable of providing seals which color can be selected and the sealant consisting of the expandable rubber composition.SOLUTION: There is provided an expandable rubber composition for a sealant containing a foam agent, a filler and an ethylene-propylene-diene three dimensional copolymer (EPDM) as a rubber component and containing Silitin as the filler. The content of the Silitin is preferably 45 to 170 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the rubber component.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
