PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant for a fiber, which has superior product stability and also has superior compatibility with various functional processing agents, and to provide a deodorant fiber product obtained by using the same.SOLUTION: The deodorant for the fiber contains (A) particulates of silicon dioxide or particulates of a complex substance of silicon dioxide and zinc oxide, and (B) a compound that is represented by the following general formula (1) and the general formula (2) and is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of compounds that have an average molecular weight of 400 to 50,000 and contain 40 mass% or more of an ethyleneoxy group with respect to a molecular weight of the compound. The deodorant fiber product obtained by using the same is also disclosed. |
