PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that reduces processing time required for reading and displaying a panoramic image while maintaining image quality.SOLUTION: An image display device 1 determines the minimum required number of images to be read on the basis of a display range set from divided images in which a panoramic image is divided in advance into a plurality of images, reads the images, and creates an image including the display range from the read images before cutting out and displaying a necessary area to be the display range, so as to significantly reduce processing time required for reading and displaying the panoramic image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
