PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire pump vehicle that is compatible with a fire scale from a normal fire to a major disaster and a major fire, and a water source situation such as a distance to a water source capable of obtaining a required quantity of fire-fighting water adapted to the fire scale and a height to the water surface, and thereby has a wide range of fire fighting.SOLUTION: A fire pump vehicle with a submersible pump is characterized by: mounting a conventional fire pump, a hydraulic submersible pump installed underwater and supplying water, and a hydraulic pump for sending a pressurized oil to the hydraulic submersible pump and driving it; selecting any of the conventional fire pump or the hydraulic pump in response to a scale of the fire, and a water source situation such as a distance to a water source capable of obtaining a water amount necessary for fire extinguishing and a height to a water surface; connecting to the full power PTO of a vehicle engine and driving it; further, separately connecting a small hydraulic pump to the side PTO of the vehicle engine and driving the hydraulic submersible pump; and thereby pressurizing the water supply from the hydraulic submersible pump by the drive of the conventional fire pump and being capable of long-distance water supply.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
