PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real perpetual calender device.SOLUTION: A calender mechanism 700 for a timing device is provided. The calender mechanism 700 displays a period of a current month, and comprises a month cam 9. A peripheral edge part 90 of the month cam 9 can approach a feeler spindle 301 of a perpetual calender device for displaying the period of the current month. The calender mechanism 700 and the month cam 9 update the current month for every month, based on respective change to the current month by the perpetual calender device. The month cam 9 is generalized to an each integer year including a virtual 28th of February, and the calender mechanism 700 comprises a leap year mechanism 900 on an outside of the month cam 9. The leap year mechanism 900 is configured to insert a first modification tool finger 901 into a space between the peripheral edge part 90 and the feeler spindle 301 in a radial direction for every four years in February, for notifying the feeler spindle 301 of the fact that the February in the year has not 28 days but 29 days.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
