PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior part attachment type tire air pressure sensor which makes air leakage less likely to occur compared to a conventional tire air pressure sensor and is securely attached to a valve tip.SOLUTION: A tire air pressure detection device 10 is attached to a tip of a valve 20 of a tire and includes: a valve core presser 11 for pressing a valve core 21; an air pressure sensor 12 for detecting an air pressure of the tire; and a coupled metal part 13 coupled to the valve 20. A seal member 14 is disposed in a position located at an inner periphery of the coupled metal part 13 and contacting with a side surface of the valve 20. The tire air pressure detection device 10 has a structure in which an opening part of the valve 20 and an inner peripheral surface of the coupled metal part 13 facing the opening part contact with each other when the tire air pressure detection device 10 is attached to the valve 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
