PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic apparatus capable of reducing redundant time taken for providing an image to a user.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic apparatus includes a storage part 104 for holding an electric signal acquired by converting a photoacoustic wave generated by the irradiation of light to a subject, an input part 105 configured so as to designate a region of interest, and an information acquisition part 106 for determining a voxel size based on the size of the region of interest, calculating the subject information distribution in the region of interest by the voxel size based on the electric signal held in the storage part 104, and causing a display part 107 to display the subject information distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
