PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket processor and a ticketing apparatus capable of more effectively preventing unauthorized use of ticks.SOLUTION: The ticket processor includes a radio communication unit, an optical reading unit, and a control unit. The radio communication unit performs a radio communication with a ticket to read a piece of information. The optical reading unit optically reads out the information which is a piece of indication object indicated by the ticket from an indication object in which a piece of validity information representing the validity of the ticket is encoded. The control unit determines the validity of the validity information read out by the optical reading unit using the information read out by the radio communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
