PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cooling efficiency of a compressor.SOLUTION: A refrigerator has a machine room accommodating a compressor and a cooling fan. A through hole for suction is provided in one side of the equipment room, and a through hole for discharge is provided in another side facing the one side. An area of the through hole for discharge is larger than that of the through hole for suction.
