PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing a fall of an article, which can prevent a fall of the article from an article shelf by effectively regulating article movement caused by a shock of an earthquake and the like, and which can adapt to the article shelf for displaying the articles of various sizes.SOLUTION: A device 1 for preventing a fall of an article on an article shelf makes a pair of right and left brackets 12 with a hook at a back end locked to locking holes 10 lined up in a vertical direction of supports 9 and 9 raised on right and left sides, and supports a shelf board 11 by the brackets 12.
