The present invention relates to an automatic tool exchange device. The technical subject to be solved is to provide the automatic tool exchange device capable of a stable tool exchange motion by optimizing rotational speed control for each load section of a servo motor by controlling the rotational speed of the servo motor according to a change in the weight of a tool. To this end, according to the present invention, disclosed is the automatic tool exchange device comprising: a change arm to change a tool which is on standby at an exchange position with a tool of a main shaft through rotary and straight line motions; a cam assembly to make the change arm perform the rotary and straight line motions; the servo motor to drive the cam assembly; and a control unit to detect a driving current value from the servo motor and to control the rotational speed of the servo motor according to the detected driving current value.
