METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING DISTORTION ON HOLOGRAPHIC DISPLAY

A method and an apparatus for correcting distortion on a holographic display comprise steps of: tracking a location of a view window by tracking a pupil location of a user and calculating a central location of the view window; determining an object point and an image point by considering a location of a light source and the central location of the view window, and generating a wave front aberration by using a light tracing; and calculating an aberration complex light field by using the generated wave front aberration. According to the present invention, the quality of a hologram reproducing image can be improved on a holographic display on the basis of a view window.
