A connector (1) is provided with: a housing (10) having a housing space (S1) provided therein, the housing space (S1) having a first opening (OP1) open to the side of the connector (1), which is connected to a device (M1), the housing space (S1) also having a second opening (OP2) through which an electrically conductive member (20) in electrical communication with the device (M1) is extended in a direction intersecting the direction in which the connector (1) is connected to the device (M1); and a shielding shell (50) for covering, within the housing space (S1), the electrically conductive member (20), the shielding shell (50) being shaped so as to extend in both the direction in which the connector (1) is connected to the device (M1) and the direction in which the electrically conductive member (20) is extended, and being disposed within the housing space (S1). The shielding shell (50) comprises: a first shell member (30) having a rectilinearly extending shape and received into the housing space (S1) from the first opening (OP1); and a second shell member (40) having a rectilinearly extending shape and received into the housing space (S1) from the second opening (OP2), the first shell member (30) and the second shell member (40) being combined together within the housing space (S1). |
