PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch operation modes of a display device, while reflecting intention of a user.SOLUTION: A display device includes: display means of displaying a screen of an application program running on an information processing apparatus, on a display surface; detection means of detecting a position of a pointer on the display surface; receiving means which receives a result of determining whether the position is located within a predetermined range including an image object to be used for input to the application program on the screen; drawing means which draws a line corresponding to trajectory of the positions detected by the detection means, on the display surface, when the device operates in a first mode; second transmission means which transmits information indicating the position detected by the detection means, to the information processing apparatus, when the device operates in a second mode; and switching means which changes the operation mode from the first mode to the second mode when the receiving means receives a determination result that the position detected by the detection means is located within the predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
