<p>Prepn. of condensed triazines of formula (I): (where R is opt. substd. alkyl; X is O or S; m = 2-4; n = 3-5) comprises reacting a diazabicycloalkane of formula (II) with an iso(thio)cyanate of formula RNCX in an inert solvent at -40 to +100 degrees C. Cpds. (I) where R is opt. substd. 1-16C alkyl are new. Cpds. (I) are useful as vulcanisation accelerators and foaming catalysts. A typical cpd. (I) is 2,4-dioxo-1,3-dimethyl-perhydro-azepino 2',1',2,3 pyrimido 1,2-al- pha -s-triazine. In an example, this was prepd. 1,8-diazobicyclo- 5,4,0 undec.-7-ene and MeNCO.</p> |
