PURPOSE: A wiper apparatus for keeping the vertical angle in a vehicle is provided to cut down manufacturing cost by reducing parts with simple structure, and to travel safely by widening the visual field of a driver. CONSTITUTION: A wiper arm(2) is turned reciprocatingly by a motor, and an end of a wire(3) is fixed in the end of a hinge connecting part(2a) formed in the lower part of the wiper arm. A wiper blade connecting part(2b) is formed in the upper part of the wiper arm, and a contact roller(4) is installed in the wiper blade connecting part. The other end of the wire is wound on the contact roller, and mounted in the end of the hinge connecting part. A wiper blade(1) is installed vertically in the upper part of the contact roller. The contact roller is turned reversely against rotation of the wiper arm in turning the wiper arm to keep the vertical angle of the wiper blade. Traveling is performed safely with widening the visual field of the driver.
