PURPOSE:To freeze fibre bundles at air temperature below freezing point so as to enhance antiskid effect in regard to ice surface by burying the fibre bundles in a tread of elastic plate shape attached to the outer circumference of a tyre and as well exposing one portion of the fibre bundles to the surface side of the tread. CONSTITUTION:A tyre antiskid member has a tread in which the elastic body of rubber or the like attached to the outer curcumference of a tyre is formed into net shape. In this case, in strip portions 1' comprising the tread, fibre bundles 7 of cotton or the like are buried as heart wood. The end faces of the fibre bundles 7 are made to stand up and expose, for examples in a surface side portion where the strip portions cross with each other. In addition, an exposed portion 7' are projected together with the tread portion around it fron the surface of the tread. Further, after the fibre bundles 7 are inserted into the center of a rubber block 9 axially, it may be buried in the tread. In this case, one face of the rubber block 9 projects together with the exposed portion 7' of the fibre bundles 7 from the end face of the tread.
