<p>PURPOSE:To make jam treatment easily when a jam has occurred at a joint part by forming from a roller furnished at the joint part and a retaining means to retain this roller swingably. CONSTITUTION:At an opening in the base of a sheet guide 114 and a cover 14 corresponding to a joint part, a roller 131 is held swingably at the tip of a retaining member 132 consisting of leaf springs. When sheet jam has occurred in this joint part, the roller 131 is pushed down from the space between the mentioned cover 14 of this sheet feeder device 11 and a sheet feed cassette 16e fitted on the body 16 of copying machine, and the roller 131 is rotated in the direction of arrow in the condition that the roller 131 is pressed to the jamming sheet as shown by the broken line in the attached illustration. Thereby the jamming sheet can be returned into a case of the sheet feeder device 11, and in this condition, a door 15 is opened and the jamming sheet removed.</p> |
