PURPOSE: To achieve a better cooling of a thin film 'on a wall of a combustion chamber, by a method wherein the axes of apertures form a specified angle with the internal surface of the wall and a first portion receives a cooling fluid while a second portion is formed divergent to turn the cooling fluid onto the internal surface. CONSTITUTION: Apertures 48 are so arranged to pierce an external circular wall 30 that cooling air is supplied onto the internal surface 44 of an external circular wall 30 from an external circular path to form a cooling air thin film. Rows of the apertures 48 are extended circumferentially on the axis of a combustion chamber. The apertures 48 are so arranged that the axes thereof form an angle of 20-40 with respect to the internal surface of the external circular wall 30. The apertures 48 have a first cylindrical portion 50 and a second divergent portion 52. The cylindrical portion 50 supplies the cooling air flowing over the external surface 46 of the external circular wall 30 of the external circular path 25 to the divergent portion 52 and the divergent portion 52 turns the cooling air onto the internal surface 44 of the external circular wall 30 in the downstream direction thereof to form a cooling air thin film. A less amount of air is required to cool an equal area.
