PURPOSE:To correctly and efficiently wash an aimed area by allowing a guide member for guiding a washer W to be provided with a prescribed allowable width and operating a pair of injectors in linkage which advance and retreat in the opposite direction each other along the direction of width. CONSTITUTION:A guide rope 1 for guiding the reciprocating traveling of a lower-part washer W is laid for a prescribed distance on a working yard for the advance of a car M to be washed. A spring 2 is installed at one edge of the guide rope 1, and a necessary guide width is secured by utilizing the elasticity of the spring 2. The car is washed by the water jetted-out from an injection nozzle 5 installed onto the lower-part washer W which reverses traveling each time when the car M contacts with the stoppers 3 and 4 for determining the traveling range of the lower-part washer W according to the length L of the car. When the length of a car is different, each position of the stoppers 3 and 4 is changed. |
