<p>PURPOSE:To perform economical electrostatic powder coating while maintaining stable quality of coated product by separating uncoated paint in a painting booth from air and recovering, and reutilizing the recovered paint by regenerating by crushing with a crusher. CONSTITUTION:Uncoated paint in an electrostatic powder coating is recovered by conducting to a cyclone 7 from the bottom of a booth 4 with a blower 9, and fine powder is recovered with a bag filter 8. The recovered paint in the cyclone 7 and the bag filter 8 is fed to a vibration screen 10, then crushed further with a crusher 12. The recovered paint is fed again to a paint tank 1 through a powder transporting pipe 16, where fresh paint is added, and the mixture is used for painting. By this method, the uncoated paint is recovered and the compsn. is adjusted to an optimum compsn. of particle size suitable for coating. Thus, economic electrostatic powder coating is performed.</p> |
