PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular stopper used for closing an opening of a bottle, jar, etc., which is a simple structure, is manufactured at a low cost, and securely closes them regardless of variations in size and shape. SOLUTION: The inside diameter of a core body 6 of the stopper is the same from its upper portion to lower portion. The outside diameter thereof increases from the lower portion toward the upper portion, thereby forming a tapering figure. The lower end of the cap is covered with a rubber-like elastic outer layer 8 having the shape of a closed bag. An elastic layer 11 may be disposed between the outer circumferential surface of the core body 6 and the inner circumferential surface of the bag-like outer layer 8. |
