<p>To carry out the filling of the cryogenic propulsion units of a launcher with fuel up to the moment of the launching of the latter, there is provided a device comprising a tube portion (20) connecting the pipelines to the ground and mounted on board the launcher (12). An embrittled zone (22) of this tube portion is broken automatically during launching by means of a mechanism (24, 38) exerting a pull on the portion.
