PURPOSE:To provide the word information registration support system for machine translation device for enabling easy and speedy registration even for biginners not especially having special knowledge in the case of registering and setting word information on a dictionary for translation provided at a machine translation device. CONSTITUTION:Concerning the word information registration support system for machine translation device provided with a dictionary 7 for translation to register the words of a source language or the respective kinds of word information such as a part of speech, meaning element, case, attribute and grammar information related to translated words, for example, and a registering means 6 for registering the respective kinds of word information on the dictionary 7 for translation, the registering means 6 is provided to display over one alternative questions at least for fixing the respective kinds of word information for each word and to arrange these questions in the order of questions to decide the fixing based on a language characteristic such as usage. |
