PURPOSE:To provide the device which can easily and surely edit document structure. CONSTITUTION:While referring to an attribute decision part 21, an editing possibility decision part 20 judges whether editing is enabled or not for each kind of the document structure of an editing object stored in a structurized document storage part 10, and the result is inputted to an instruction interface part 30. A document structure compacting part 31 compacts the document structure of a long sentence or a large diagram. Based on the result of the editing possibility decision part, an editing enabling state function part 32 provides a display function concerning the document structure enabling editing. Based on the result of the editing possibility decision part, an emphasized display function part 33 provides an emphasized display function. A compacted display function part 34 provides the display function of the compacting processing result by the document structure compacting part. When one part of structurized document enabling editing displayed at a display part 40 is instructed, it is recognized by a document structure instruction recognition part 35 and further, a document structure editing part 60 edits the instructed document structure. This result is stored in an edited result storage part 70. |
