PURPOSE:To enhance an efficiency by equalizing vibrating states of A-and B-phases in an ultrasonic motor in which nodes of a synthesized wave and vibration are used. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric element comprises a thin type piezoelectric element having one side fixed to a stator, and electrodes disposed so that A- phase.B-phase of opposite side to a common electrode of the stator side are deviated by 1/4 wavelength in such a manner that electrodes of the phases are alternately reversely polarized, wherein the electrode dispositions of the A- and B-phases and polarizing directions are laterally symmetrical. |
