PURPOSE:To obtain a joint material preventing the production of fire and the emission of smoke at the time of setting, ensuring easy accurate setting and excellent in sealing effect by using powdery refractory stock as principal stock and adding a soln. prepd. by diluting a resin with alcohols or only alcohol as a binder. CONSTITUTION:A blend contg. powdery refractory stock as principal stock is prepd. and 20-40wt.% soln. prepd. by diluting a resin with alcohols or only alcohol is added as a binder to obtain the objective joint material. The blend is prepd. by blending 20-97wt.% of the refractory stock with 1-30wt.% clay, 1-20wt.% metal powder and 1-30wt.% powdery frit (low m.p. glass). The refractory stock is, e.g. alumina, mullite or magnesia. |
