Guide bolt for floating saddle disc brake

The guide bolt acts as a guide in a floating saddle disc brake with brake pads (5,6) either side of the disc (4). The brake has at least one brake piston (9) for one of the pads. It is mounted on a brake anchor plate (3). The bolt is between the calliper (2) and the anchor plate. The guide bolt is fixed to the calliper or anchor plate and can move axially in a guide bore (11). The bolt is coated with plastics, at least on its circumferential surface (26), which serves as the guide surface (15) for the bolt inside the bore. The bolt can be made entirely of plastics.
