PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency by devising the system such that a mail exchange is implemented in a form of circulating a mail in a similar sense to that of an actual circulation in a local area network. CONSTITUTION:The system consists of plural work stations W1, W2 where an application program is executed and a server receiving a mail sent from a work station and executing a processing in response to the request. Then the server discriminates whether a mail is a general mail or a circulation mail according to attribute information possessed by the mail. In case of a general mail, a process BM12 copies the mail to mail boxed bn14-16 possessed by a user of a destination. In the case of a circulation mail, a process CM13 stores the mail into a circulation mail box C17 and writes a block signifying the copyright of the circulation mail into a main box bn possessed by a user being a first circulating destination according to the designation of a sender. The block is given to a main box possessed by a user being the next circulating destination designated by the sender when the first possessor of the existing circulation mail completes its reading. |
