PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the use convenience of an emulation device for user and to reduce the development cost. SOLUTION: This device has dedicated emulation chips 20 and 30 having an emulation function for emulating the common function of product family and an input/output level shifter and a product chip 41a which belongs to the product family and is provided with an emulation function for emulating peripheral functions peculiar for products. Then, this system is provided with plural switch means 80a for respectively setting the respective signals of plural input/ output lines, through which the input/output level shifter of dedicated emulation chip 30 is connected with the product chip 41a, to a power supply potential or a ground potential during a reset period. Corresponding to the respective signals respectively set by these respective switch means 80a during the reset period the inputs/outputs of respective input/output lines of the product chip 41a are respectively controlled after the end of reset period. |
