PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a horizontal black stripe from occurring on the leading end of a transfer paper so that an image excellent in image quality can be formed at a low cost by making a surface potential obtained just after a photographic sensitive body passes through a developing part and a voltage impressed on a developing roller satisfy specified relation. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic sensitive body is provided in contact with the developing roller 40, and the surface potential (VD) of the electrophotographic sensitive body obtained just after the electrophotographic sensitive body is brought into contact with the roller 40 has surface potential damping characteristic expressed by an expression VD>=800×EXP (0.00235×VR) when the electrophotographic sensitive body is brought into contact with the roller 40 on which the voltage (VR) is impressed in a state where the electrophotograhic sensitive body is electrified to have the surface potential of 800 V. When the photographic sensitive body 1 is used in an image forming device performing development by making a toner layer on the roller 40 brought unto contact with the photoreceptor 1, the horizontal black stripe on the leading end of the transfer paper occurring when the impressed voltage on the roller 40 is switched can be prevented, so that the image having excellent image quality and density can be formed. Besides, since the multistage control of an impressed voltage is not required, the constitution of the image forming device can be simplified, and a cost can be reduced. |
