The turbofan (10), with input and output sides, has an electrical drive unit with rotor (22) and drive shaft (20). The impellers (12,14,16,18) on both sides of the electrical drive unit rotor are aligned the same way behind each other in the direction of the drive shaft axis. The impeller nearest the input side of the rotor has a flow connection to the impeller nearest the output side of the rotor. The drive shaft has at least three bearing points.
