<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder lock having a simple structure, reducing cost, necessitating no prevention member for making a key non-usable usually, reducing changes from a conventional chain lock mechanism, and being controlled by electronic codes. SOLUTION: This lock is provided with a turnable cylinder 2 in its main body 1, and a bar 5 in a slot 6 is hooked on both of the cylinder 2 and the main body 1 in a chain lock condition to prevent its turn. In the cylinder 2, a control unit 10 which is turned by a chain lock disc 3 having a cutout part 3a and a key 7 and has a cutout part 10a and a special chain lock disc 9 which is not turned by the key 7 but has a cutout part 9a are provided. When the key 7 is inserted into the lock and its electronic codes are distinguished to be correct, the control unit 10 attracts the chain lock disc 9 magnetically and is turned by the key 7. If the codes are not correct, however, the disc 9 is not turned, and the cutout part 9a is not aligned so that the lock cannot be unlocked.</p> |
