The ''Word Field Operator'' comprises a base plate (1), cover plate (2), guide and edge strips (3), basic cover slide (4), operation cover slide (5), basic tongue, operation tongue, basic window (8) and operation window (9). The cover slides are drawn outwards to the right. Through operational windows the basic and operational tongues are visible. The operation and basic tongues are also drawn outwards to the right and exchanged.
