The invention relates to a high-pressure cleaner (10) with a reciprocating pump (16) on which a pump head (27) is mounted. At least one piston (23) reciprocating in the longitudinal direction of the reciprocating pump protrudes into said pump head. Said pump head (27) comprises a suction connection (31) for feeding a cleaning agent and a pressure connection (33) for releasing the cleaning agent. Said pump head accommodates a plurality of control valves (35, 37, 39), is produced from plastics and is fixed with the reciprocating pump by way of a fastening element (56). The aim of the invention is to improve such a high-pressure cleaner so that it can be produced at lower costs and is easier to assemble. To this end, the fastenin g element (56) has at least one U-shaped clamp clip with a base part contactin g the pump head (27) and with two limbs which are substantially aligned in the longitudinal direction of the reciprocating pump (16). The free ends of said limbs rest on a metal bearing surface of a piston guide (25) of the reciprocating pump (16) and are releasably connected to said reciprocating pump (16).
