PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order production technology for reducing the labor on the order production of a user and a manufacturer. SOLUTION: An order production system 1 is provided with a terminal 2, a server 3 and a machine tool 4. A user who desires to order a product receives design software DF in the terminal 2 from the server 3 of the manufacturer through the Internet 10. The user designs the product by design software DF by the terminal 2 and transmits generated design data DB to the server 3 through the Internet 10. The server 3 converts received design data DB into work data DM which can be used in the machine tool 4 and transmits it to the machine tool 4 through a cable 11. The machine tool 4 automatically machines a work piece 8 based on work data DM and manufactures the product according to the user design. Thus, the user can easily design the desired product by design software DF and the manufacturer can use design data DB which the user has prepared for manufacture. Thus, labor on the order production of the user and the manufacturer can be reduced. |
