PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease element capacity and lengthen a service life. SOLUTION: AC output of a generator G is converted into high frequency AC with an inverter INV, and a metal halide lamp (discharge lamp) L for a fishing light is lit with the high frequency AC through a filter F. Abnormal input, abnormal output, and abnormal temperature of the inverter are detected with detecting means DIA, DOA, and DTA, and a stop signal is generated even in one detection, and a control means CON conducts stopping control. The stopping control is conducted in such a way that degree of modulation of PWM(pulse width modulation) of the inverter is divided in several stages and decreased by stages, and decrease speed in degree of modulation is made slow with the time elapsed. |
