PURPOSE: A compressed air generator is provided to be more appropriate to characteristic of a railroad vehicle with producing excellent quality of compressed air and to install entire components of the generator with easier replacement of commodities and periodical maintenance. CONSTITUTION: A hanger bracket(104) is fixed with a vibration damping rubber(103) disposed by a bolt for preventing vibration from being delivered . And a gravity of a compressed air generator is lowered to minimize vibration applied to the compressed air generator. An induction motor(110) and a screw air compressor are axially combined by a flexible coupling to prevent vibration of the induction motor from being fed to the air compressor. Under the structure, air is absorbed from outside through an air filter(115) and passes through a suction valve to be flowed in the air compressor. Male and female rotors rotate for the sucked air to be compressed by sealing action and the air is fed to an oil receiver(118). The compressed air from the oil receiver and the divided oil are recirculated to be supplied.
