PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a baseball video game to progress with enhanced interest without becoming monotonous in a state more similar to real baseball games by performing corresponding processing in the case that a pitcher character throws a dangerous ball. SOLUTION: If the pitcher throws a ball that hits a batter, it is determined whether the ball is a dangerous ball that hits a dangerous area such as a head or the like of a batter character or not by collision decision of the ball and the dangerous area of the batter character. If it is a dangerous ball, processing of forcible leaving out of the game of the pitcher character is performed.
