The roller shutter has support brackets (3) for the shaft (1) with mountings (9) for a stop to allow blockage of the lowest louvre (15) of the blind (2). The stop is formed by side guide strips (14) which co-operate with ferrules (16) inserted in the ends of the lowest louvre to form a height stop for the blind panel. The guide e strips can be positioned in the upper extensions of the side slide ways of the blind.
