PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an electric vehicle which can transmit and receive control information, bypassing a faulty transmission line when nonconformities occur in some transmission line, by enabling signal transmission between each control device attached to each motor. SOLUTION: An electronic control system for the electric vehicle is provided with a fail safe means for a signal transmission path, where a node that detects communication trouble sends a search message for searching a transmission path and a node capable of the formation of a transmission path sends back a response message thus forming a bypass circuit.
