HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR THERMAL RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material having excellent fixability of a heat-transfer recording part and color separability of a heat- sensitive recording part and the heat-transfer recording part and a method for thermal recording. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording material comprises the heat-transfer sheet having a heat-transfer layer on a rear surface side of a first sheet, and a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a colorant at a front surface side of a second sheet so that the heat-transfer sheet and the recording sheet are superposed in such a manner that their front surface sides are disposed upside. The recording layer contains microcapsule particles for including composite particles of a leuco dye and a hydrophobic resin or the leuco dye as one means for solving the purpose.
