PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data base link Web page constructing system having simple system constitution capable of reducing operation costs. SOLUTION: In a data base link Web page constructing system constituted of a server machine equipped with a WWW server and a DB server and a client machine equipped with a Web browser, a client 12 is provided with a data base to be retrieved setting means 18 for generating a set file to be retrieved and a set file transferring means 19 for transferring the set file to the server 11, and the server 11 is provided with an HTML generating means 16 for reading the set file, and for generating the HTML file of a data base retrieval page, and the narrowing-down retrieval, list display, and registration of the data base is operated based on the data base retrieval page displayed in the client 12.
