PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticker vending device allowing even people inexperienced in travel to easily purchase desired reserved seat tickets and the like. SOLUTION: When departure time and date, a departure station and an arrival station are inputted by an input means 3, a main control part 1 retrieves data stored in the large-capacity memory thereof and stores a train not fully reserved in, e.g. the small-capacity memory of a terminal control part 2, and determines, based on the data, whether or not the train will arrive at the arrival station; if the train will arrive at the arrival station, its arrival time and date is stored in the small-capacity memory; if not, data is retrieved for the first train that a passenger can take after getting off the former train and that will arrive at the arrival station, so that this train is stored in the small-capacity memory. The name of the train searched, the departure time and date of the train from the departure station, the time and date of its arrival at the arrival station, and the fare are displayed on a list by a display means 4; when the desired train is selected through the operation of the input means 3, a normal ticker or a reserved seat ticker for the train is issued from a ticker issuing means 5.
