PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel supporting device capable of being extremely easily applied to a desk or a table without machining a top plate at all or using tools. SOLUTION: This panel supporting device 12 is used for supporting a panel 11 having a panel forming surface 15 formed by covering a frame 14 with a cloth material on the top plate 10 of the desk or the table. The device 12 comprises a device body 20 disposed so as to grab the upper and lower parts of an end of the top plate 10 and a shaft member 21 projecting upwardly from the device body 20. A pair of right and left frame forming bodies 16 and 16 forming the frame 14 comprise hollow pipes, and shaft members 21 can be inserted into connecting holes 19 formed at their lower ends to support the panel 11 on the top plate 10.
