<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the distributed management of shared computers in a common location facility. SOLUTION: A multi-tiered server management architecture is employed, and this architecture comprises an application development layer, an application operation layer, and a cluster operation tier. In the application development tier, an application is developed so as to be executed on at least one server computer. In the application operation tier, the execution of the application is managed, and the sub-boundary within a server cluster set in the joint location facility can be set. In the cluster operation tier, the operation of the server computer is managed regardless of which application is executed on at least one server computer, and the boundary of the server cluster set in the common location facility can be set.</p> |
