PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-in type hot water supply device, achieving simplified piping as a whole, reduced cost and simplified installation work. SOLUTION: The hot water supply device comprises a water supply passage 4 having an opening/closing device 5, a body 3, a water faucet 10, a hot water storage container 6 mounted with a heater 7 and incorporated in the body 3, a tapping passage 8 having one end communicated with an approximate bottom portion of the container 6 and the other end communicated with a tapping port 15 of the water faucet 10, a tapping device 9 arranged on the midway of the tapping passage 8, and an air passage 22 having one end communicated with an air layer in the upper part of the container 6 and the other end communicated with an opening port 21 open to the outside of the body 3. Thus, one hot water pipe from the body 3 is required which is communicated with the water faucet 10 and a pipe having the opening port 21 is handled only at the side of the body 3, achieving simplified piping as a whole, reduced cost and simplified installation work.
