The invention relates to a method and a device, which provide a particularly cost-effective, space-saving solution for supplying power to a consumer (current sink RL) via two data line pairs of a local network (LAN). The invention is characterised in that it uses a circuit arrangement comprising two electronic reactance coils (D1/D2, D3/D4) per data line pair to tap a supply voltage that is made available by a voltage source. To obtain a self-symmetry for the circuit arrangement, the two base connections and the two output connections of the electronic reactance coils (D1/D2, D3/D4) are interconnected. |
