PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrator for directly driving a board wherein a coil bobbin in the vibrator is prevented from coming in contact with a bottom part and results in being damaged due to the action of a strong external force. SOLUTION: The vibrator includes: a magnetic circuit configuration section including a permanent magnet 12 sandwiched between an outer yoke 11 and an inner yoke 13; a coil inserted to a gap formed by the outer yoke and the inner yoke; and a coupler member 14 for fixing a bobbin 15 with a coil wound thereon, provided with a support member 14 for supporting an elastic body 17 for making the magnetic circuit configuration section freely vibratory, and fitted to the board. A limit member P1 placing a limit on a width of a displacement is provided between the coupler member and the inner yoke within a range wherein a tip of the bobbin is not in contact with the outer yoke when the magnetic circuit configuration section is displaced in a vibrating direction.
